Hi,
I know Chrome is an issue but I’m wondering if anyone found a fix and also if my video is normal.
I’ve made a comparison just to show how much faster Edge works.
The main issue I have with it is that there’s still no adblock \ uBlock \ add on support..
Is your Chrome the same?April 10, 2016 at 10:34 pm #32978i use firefox and its as slow as chrome on your video. i am quite disappointed with the windows performance of the tablet.
April 11, 2016 at 7:47 am #33000Because chrome does not have, firefox also, touchscreen support. If you will use tablet with keyboard&mouse you will notice that scrolling with finger is same as mouse wheel scroll. So there is a lag with finger.

Right, I agree. I just thought maybe someone found a workaround..
At least Edge is going to have add on support really soon so we should expect adblock in the near future.
But even in Edge, even though youtube can play everything smooth, the interaction is very very slow. Changing to full screen, back to normal, pause, play.. very slow. Scrolling is smooth and the video playback is smooth though.
April 11, 2016 at 8:48 am #33010I’m using Firefox and I still have lag while browsing using touchscreen.
Once Edge will support extensions, probably I’ll switch to Edge on my tablet.April 11, 2016 at 9:33 am #33014Did you use smooth scroll extension on chrome/firefox? Maybe this can be a solution
April 11, 2016 at 10:05 am #33017I tried every possible solution found on internet without success, even disabling smooth scrolling, hw acceleration, restarting in safe mode, etc.
February 5, 2017 at 6:15 pm #61648Use https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/h264ify/aleakchihdccplidncghkekgioiakgal to disable VP9 Support in Chrome
H.264 will speed up your Chrome experience on Youtube dramatically. Also check you have HTML5 enabled https://www.youtube.com/html5
