    wish me luck, I got the parts (including volt modder) and newer bios so going to try this tomorrow.  If I don’t come back its because I am sat in the corner crying.

    It’s been so long now since I USB flashed, last one was a Core M3 and then an Atom Z8350. But you need the clip, flasher and a lot of patience.

    One tip, try flashing with it unplugged. You have to hear that windows confirmation beep to know it’s connected correctly. pin 1 to pin 1.
    That’s the hardest part I found, getting it to flash. First read, erase and blank, then confirm it’s working all 000000’s And finally flash.

    And if you don’t hear the beep in Windows once you connect it, try with the battery. Some worked with the battery plugged in and others without.

    I had so many nightmares like this, which is why if it’s not broke. I don’t flash anything anymore if I can help it!
