    WINDOWS

    1. Format smaller USB Drive (FAT32). Copy content of USB1 directory to root of drive and change drive label to Winpe

    2. Format second USB Drive (NTFS). Copy content of USB1 directory to root of drive and change drive label to Winpe

Don’t know if it’s a typo as I don’t have the files yet but are both 1 and 2 meant to say USB1?  (you copy the same files to both usb drives?)

Thanks in advance for the guide.

What are the advantages of upgrading to 64bit windows?

Main one is the ability to natively use the full 4GB of installed RAM.

32-bit can only address up ~3GB. There are some mitigation methods, using PAE, to utilise RAM above that limit but they aren’t very efficient.

You can also (if drive is large enough) have the contents of both on a single NTFS thumbdrive and it works fine.

Good to know. I have a 16gb thumbdrive I could use.

Also while looking around that baidu cloud account I saw some new Chuwi hi10 files posted today. They look like new windows 10 image files but I don’t know the differences between the earlier released ones and these. (I haven’t downloaded either yet). Anyways here’s a link; http://pan.baidu.com/s/1bm7uN0

Here’s a link to the root diretory of that baidu cloud account:

Someone from Chuwi posted some files on their forums. Looks like it’s the bios, windows 10 images and a word doc with installation instructions (in Chinese)

It took me a while but I downloaded the files that were linked in that Chuwi forum post.

Only judging by filenames they look like they’re the same as the ones you posted to that google drive.

If anyone wants to compare or look into it, I’ve attached the zip file that was found in the “BIOS” folder.

I haven’t had time yet to test these files so use at your own risk.

Question to anyone who’s successfully converted their tablet to 64bit.

What does the serial number on the back of your tablet start with?  The first half of mine is: HI10 Q64G42151102(*** last 3 digits)

    Same for me : Q64G42151102***

v200 hardware batch with Samsung eMMC, Broadcom WiFi, black USB3 port. Successfully updated to 64bit UEFI/Windows

    @kurai

    Great, thank you.

They list serial numbers in that Chuwi thread and ours isn’t one of them.

Typo, maybe ? Perhaps they meant Q64G4215110…. instead of Q64G2215110…. ?

Seem to be a lot of other people in that thread saying “Huh ? Mine’s Q64G4…”

Thanks Przemo and Kurai, your method is working. Now0 I got the 64bits windows 10 without any problems (just a little bit when installing windows it said you have some conflict and need to restart, then the installation’s solved and done.
