it’s not really geekbuying’s fault there… seems alot of the units are just faulty so it doens’t really matter where you buy it as far as the chance of getting a good one goes
the right choice is choosing the most trustworthy seller that is willing to exchange/refund in case of issues
December 31, 2015 at 2:07 am #20651Not aliexpress, seller named VC Mall/VC Lemon. They have terrible customer service.
December 31, 2015 at 11:11 am #20682So there has been a lot of faulty ones? Do you know a place to buy from? If my new tablet ends up the same, I’ll just have to wait for a firmware update if there is one. But I can’t have a tablet that turns off all the time for no reason and has a corrupt screen. I wasn’t blaming them specifically, but they should test all the products they receive before sending them out, thats their job as a retailer. Thank you for your advice. I was thinking about VC Mall but I won’t go there then. Any other ideas?

That looks like a faulty ips panel to me.
I would be wanting a full refund.
I had a faulty vi10 from gearbest and they were a nightmare to deal with.
The wanted to only give me gearbest credit and not a refund.
I escalated my dispute to a claim with PayPal and git it sorted.
Don’t take any nonsense from them.
Hope you get yours sorted.
Mine seems to be working okay now. No more reboots and hard drive works fine with a y cable powering it.

December 31, 2015 at 12:54 pm #20698As some of you may know (or not know), I ordered a tablet from Geekbuying and it was faulty. As I am in the process of going to get my money back, and as most of you have received your tablets, what is the best place to order a Chuwi HI10 that is NOT faulty? And worth my money?
As you still want the device, why don’t you request a replacement instead? Better for the shop and easier for you.
December 31, 2015 at 8:40 pm #20756I’ve asked for my money back, but if they suggest a replacement, I will think about that. I really like the tablet just want one that works.
January 1, 2016 at 1:27 am #20777well i ordered from aliexpress, the customer service was good tho… and yeah the problem was with the chuwi not the stores, i recived mine 2 days ago
January 2, 2016 at 3:32 pm #20967Has there been any news of a firmware update then? Or something to fix the battery and screen issues? I hear that gearbest is a good place to order from. And possibly dealsmachine. Any news on an update or a way to fix the issues would be appreciated as I don’t want to get rid of my tablet, however, Geekbuying has not responded to me since they sent the tablet out. So if I want my money back, I might have to open a dispute anyway. And I don’t really want to do that. But I can’t have the tablet turning on and off as I do use it for business not just personal use. Thank you for all your help and advice! 🙂
