So I did some gaming on my ChuWi Hi10 (64-bit Win10 Home)

I don’t have footage, but here are the results:

    Bioshock on lowest settings:

640×480 gave a low of about 30FPS and a high of 60FPS, but averaged around 40

1280×720 gave a low of about 15FPS and a high of 40, but averaged around 22FPS

    Minecraft on Fast (low) Settings:

1920×1200 (Windowed Mode) gave a low of about 4FPS and a high of about 69FPS, but averaged around 22FPS. EDIT: After installing the Optifine Mod, setting everything to low, but keeping full resolution and render distance at Normal, Minecraft runs smoothly around 35FPS average.

    Roblox (Lowest settings):

1920×1200 (Windowed Mode) playing Phantom Forces Beta (Kinda like lego battlefield 4) gave a low of about 15FPS and a high of about 41FPS, but averaged around 20FPS.

1920×1200 (Windowed Mode) playing Natural Disaster Survival gave a low of about 44FPS and a high of about 58FPS, but averaged around 53FPS.

Halo Spartan Assault (Lowest settings, basically just no anti aliasing; Its a top-down Halo from 2013):

1920×1200 gave a low of about 18FPS and a high of about 25FPS, but averaged around 20FPS; EDIT: I now realized that the settings were on half-fps so assume the framerate is almost double; so maybe 35fps as a guess

Halo Spartan Strike (Lowest settings, basically just no anti aliasing; Its a top-down Halo from 2015 with a little better graphics than Spartan Assault):

1920×1200 gave a low of about 15FPS and a high of about 60FPS, but averaged around 38FPS.

Temperatures started at about 65C an rose to about 80C. Minecraft crashed the tablet once, and I’m not sure about why it did.

Overall performance is good for light gaming. If I can figure out a way to properly record the tablet with my phone, I might provide some video footage.

If you want to run AAA games on this tablet, I’d suggest looking at LowSpecGamer’s YouTube channel. He provide tutorials for how to run games on low spec PCs.

    EDIT:

So I’ve now also installed Tomb Raider and tried it. Here are the results:

    Tomb Raider (Lowest Settings):

800×600 gave a low of about 5FPS and a high of about 25FPS, but averaged about 12FPS. I’ll admit that I was playing at an intense part of the game (About 60% complete, after escaping a collapsing structure, where it looks kinda like a boss fight, but I didn’t finish because of the low frame rates). I’d definitely look into performance mods if you plan on playing this. It rose up to 84C and hovered between 81-84 most of the time.

EDIT: After doing some basic performance mods detailed by LowSpecGamer on YouTube, performance has not increased a lot, if at all. Texture/Model mods would seem to be the only way to get this to run.

Thank you. This is good information.

I’m going to install some older games to see how they run.

    Awesome info. Thanks!

So for a light gamer, and a hard multitasker, do you recommend going with the hi10? I’m thinking about Cube i7 stylus but would rather have 2 full sized usb ports and extra cash lol.

The Hi10 does fairly well on multitasking and lightweight games, especially for being a low-end Intel Atom.

For gaming, it really depends on what games you have in mind. If its in the Windows store though, its likely that this will run it.

And as for multitasking, I have been able to have multiple tabs open, along with a game downloading from steam, along with music playing, along with browsing YouTube; It ran fine. If that’s what you have in mind for multitasking, then the ChuWi Hi10 will be fine. The 4 cores really help there.

World of warcraft 640×480 (all low), still looks decent average 30fps completely playable. I play WoW in school when I dont have classes.

League Of Legends also works fine!

CS:GO all lowest average 25fps playable for some people but not for me since im used to 300fps and 144Hz screen in FPS games.

Olliolli2 works really well, not sure about the quality settings, think I was in default.

Voulme is playable on lowest settings, but I wouldn’t call it super smooth.

Hotline Miami ran well on default settings

Okay. I tested Skyrim with the Ultra Low Mod (I used the ‘Balanced’) setting. I got about 25-35 fps, averaging 30 fps. It is completely playable and would be a great option for Skyrim on the go.

I also tested Dayz. Even at low settings, it would get 12 fps, completely unplayable. Then, I used the .ini files and lowered practically every setting (view distance to 250) and got a playable 25 fps with precision response times.

    Could someone test Insurgency?

    Hello!

Anybody is experiencing some problems with mouse during playing games? Especially with FPS games. I’m having issues with mouse, like not recognising clicks sometimes and firing stucked. So simply unplayable. I’ve tried several mouses, wireless and wired too, but the problem is still on.

    Thank you in advance,

    BR, Akos

    Resident Evil 5

    With 1280×800, Low Setting

    Got 20FPS average.

With 800×600 and same setting got 30 FPS with some time down to 25FPS if long range view.

    Completely playable

Instant casinos often offer a vast selection of games, from classic slots and table games to the latest video slots and live dealer games. The convenience of accessing a wide array of games without any downloads adds to the overall gaming experience.
