Wait few minutes. Charge your battery little more and then power on without charger. I had the same problem.

Try press power button few times (long, short) when charger is connected. When led starts blinking leave connected for 0,5 – 1h.

<p style=”text-align: left;”>Connect a phone or USB stick that has LED indicator, now try to power on and off (10s hold to power off), if USB power is OK then you have the same problem like me and the other fellow in BIOS Reset thread.</p>

Thabks for your suggestions, however the light on the tablet doesn’t turn on or blink anymore whether i have the charging cable connected or not.  I tried connected a usb stick and no lights from the stick.  Looks like the tablet is dead.

Light on the tablet is dead in my case as well, something on the MoBo is wrong since it turns on but it’s not posting or it’s BIOS issue (which could be possibly fixed), only thing we can do is to try get some money back.

Yep, they already responded to me, press power + volume up buttons, hope they have more tricks then that, really loved the device for the 2 hours it actually worked, would be a nice companion to school.

okay…after asking me to do the old press power and + volume buttons trick (which obviously didn’t work) – VC Mall has now asked me to cancel the dispute and send the device back for a replacement.  I’m pretty new to AliExpress am I covered if I cancel the dispute?

thanks in advance for your advice

i never used aliexpress but my guess is that once you close the dispute you basically declare that it’s all ok and the seller could then leave you on your own…

I would keep the dispute open to be on the safe side, but you can always open a chat session on aliexpress and ask advice about how to proceed (see help). Make sure you have your dispute number and order number ready so that they can review the communications between you and the seller.

Recently I have got the same problem and one of their employees replied as followed :

“my friend, please do not open dispute, it is not a good way to solve the problem, i have confirm to the chuwi factory they will make a software and later you try flash with the new software the problem will be solved, please understand-susan”

Let’s hope this flash thing will fix our issues.

Hey John, how long did you leave it charging for? I was using 5v 2a charger and after 1 hour, it only charged 10%.

Hi Tinnie thanks for the info, in my situation I don’t see how flashing it can help seeing my tablet seems to be completely dead (no lights, nothing) is yours the same?
