I can’t speak for the HI10, but I dropped my Vi10 a while ago and I smashed the front glass and touch stopped working. I believe that even a hairline fracture in the digitizer can stop the touch from working.
All I needed to replace was the digitizer/glass and it was as good as new.
The digitizer cost £18 from this seller:
I expect a similar part is all that’s needed to repair your Hi10, if as you say the actual display panel is intact.
I advise you to contact various sellers to check compatibility with your tablet.
Good luck with the repair!
April 7, 2016 at 9:10 pm #32566The Vi10 replacement panel came with a whole front housing so there was no gluing/separating required – I merely swapped the components over to the new digitizer + housing and replaced the back.
I know the Hi10 is a bit different to the Vi10 but I hope my experience helps you out a bit 🙂

To be honest I can only find the touch screen and LCD separately.
If i bought them both it’d be $40. But If I bought them as a complete LCD / digitizer package, it’d be $60 (because that seller has only an expensive shipping option).
Like my front screen looks completely fine and the crack seems to be inside, with the touch screen.
Thanks again for your help.
And this is what I found on aliexpress:

Although it would be a good idea to disassemble your tablet to check out the digitizer connector as there are different types. Also check with the seller to be certain you’re buying the right one
