Add number 4. Speaker has a slight hiss on my unit. Comes and goes, not a deal breaker. But I’ve very fussy when it comes to audio output quality, I absolutely hate hearing static and hiss. It’s mostly an Atom things as all the Core M’s seem to have clean audio output. Maybe Chuwi can fix it? Could be a realtech driver thing?
5. Improve speaker volume levels in Windows. (Drivers?)

Id really like to have ntfs or at least exfat support for android so i can use my sd card on both systems without having to root it and install some drivers that dont work all the time.
The only bug i have at the moment is that i have a very loud static noise when i switch from android to windows…everytime.
August 4, 2016 at 3:24 am #45541You can have large sdcards in the hi12 that windows and android can see without root or drivers. Just format the 64gb or 128gb using fat32. You can do that by formatting it in an android device or you can do it from windows with some extra software to get around microsofts arbitrary fat32 limit. Use the following:
http://www.ridgecrop.demon.co.uk/index.htm?fat32format.htmMy 64GB card can be read by the stock windows and android that comes with the chuwi.

please take part to the topic, even if you can’t report more bug, so I can mention more users to chuwi
thanks!
August 4, 2016 at 5:41 pm #45626hey guys please!!!!!!!!!! we realy need to find a solution for this bad touchscreen response on android so weird it is a software probleme since we can fix it on windows very easily. So why isn’t chuwi doing something for us, it’s a well known problem and it is an important one, because i can not use the android side, so sad…

The problem is that you then are limited to files under 4GB. Videofiles in Full HD are f.i. often larger. The same applies to ISO files a lot of the times.

Whitout root you can install Total Commander and the USB Plugin from Paragon, then you will be abel to use NTFS in Android
August 5, 2016 at 8:02 pm #45758I have the original single boot version so these might be fixed now but:
When I try working with files on a USB stick it ejects the stick and reconnects every minute or so.
Holding down the power button for 5 seconds and letting go to start is irritating as hell.
It’s possible to get into BIOS setup by holding down a volume button, but you can’t seem to navigate with the volume keys and the touchscreen doesn’t function either. Would be great to have that feature so people don’t lock themselves out of setup by disabling USB 🙂 (I suspect the volume keys will be used to enter DnX mode and boot menu on the Dual boot anyway?)
Other than that it’s far better than I thought it’d be (handles MS Visual Studio CE 2015 well). I don’t have the KB yet, there may be issues with that.
I would love an Android/Windows dual boot Pro version with 128GB and a faster SoC…
