Does anyone have a fix for this problem?

Yes I have. I had the same probleem, especially after the aniversary update. I solved it by going to the power options in Windows, and restored the default settings of the balanced profile. After that I went to the advanced power options and put the hibernation timer to 0/never. Not sure if this last action actually changed anything, but tablet now only goes intro hibernation after a few hours.

After the changes i save the profile and rebooted the tab.

It seems that the advanced power setting are ignored (because I put hibernation to never and it still hibernates….), but anyways this worked for me because it is now after an (undefined) acceptabel time.

Hi, noticed the same problem is occurring with my Hi12. To wake the tablet from sleep one should just press the power button, right? My Chuwi had the hybernation counter set to 240min by default but would hybernate after some 20 minutes of non use, and now it’s doing the same with hybernation set to Never. Meaning I have to long press the power button and select the boot manually to turn it on again, the apps and documents I left open will be there again once it boots to Windows. Anything I can do about this strange behavior? Is it perhaps connected to the use of a magnetic “smart” cover?

Yes think this setting was responsible: Save me power when my device (or Cortana if you’re logged in with your Microsoft ID)  knows I’m away”?

Turning it off seems to work for me.
