Chuwi hi12 keeps hibernating after long period been inactive WHY?

Still the hibernation problem persists. Even after updating the Bios various times and having latest Windows 10 updates.

Anyone else suffering from this?

Have you tried: Settings>System> Power & Sleep> under Sleep select OFF for “Save me power when my device (or Cortana if you’re logged in with your Microsoft ID)  knows I’m away”? Also in Power & Sleep, if you scroll down to Additional power settings and open it, you will have the option to “Change advanced power settings” for your Balanced plan. In the pop up window, under Sleep, you can set hybernation to Never while on battery power, by default it’s set to after 240 minutes.

Thanks for the quick response, but I have already tried all the things you’ve mentioned except for the “Save m pore when my device knows I’m away”.  I unchecked it now.

Hopefully this will help, cause this is ridiculous having to boot up every time I pull out my device from my bag.

The Chuwi Hi12 may keep entering hibernation after being inactive for a long time because of its power management settings rather than a hardware fault. Windows is designed to save battery life by automatically putting the device into sleep or hibernation after a specified period of inactivity. Honestly had the same thing happen with mine and it drove me nuts, but it’s usually just Windows power settings being way too aggressive with the hibernate timer when the device sits idle. What worked for me was going into Power Options and setting “hibernate after” to never, or if you want it gone completely just run powercfg /hibernate off in an admin command prompt . Funny enough I was actually scrolling through https://slotsdata.co/ during one of these random shutdowns last week, so at least I got some entertainment out of the annoyance lol. Did yours start doing this recently or has it always been like that?
