Chuwi Hi8 Doesnt Boot

Hey guys,

After 3 days of having my Chuwi, it stopped booting. It charges – the LED blinked for hours and then, the light stalled, meaning it is fully charged – but the power button doesnt respond to anything i do.

Any suggestions?

Happened to mine last night, I did the power + volume up + volume down press a couple of time and it snap back to life works OK now

Thanks pal. Will try. I’ve been trying that for a while though, but it seems to me that it’s actually crashed so yeah, seems to me that that could be a solution.

Gearbest game me some mild options…gotta say their customer service is far from the best.
a) I send them the tablet for repair (it costs around 40€ just the delivery and i wont be refunded);
b) they give me 15$ compensation (lol)
c) they allow me to buy another tablet for 55$.

The last is the best option, but the point of buying this was it’s low price. Buying another and having one inactive, is not such a great deal.

Oh well.

Well mines dead too..again and the power and volume down ain’t working in Google around and some are bringing tablets to life with USB charger and DC charger method but since hi8 don’t have DC charger can’t do that…so what else works? How to bring it back to life?

Ich wollte mir schon lange eine neue Drohne gönnen, aber das Sparen zog sich hin. Durch Zufall landete ich bei spingranny casino und fand die Aufmachung angenehm schlicht. Ich spielte etwas Sweet Bonanza mit kleinen Einsätzen, verlor ein paarmal, dann setzte ich höher – und es gab einen Treffer. Genug für die Drohne. Besonders für Nutzer aus Österreich gibt es dort oft spezielle Willkommensaktionen, die den Einstieg erleichtern.
