Quick check of my registry Get-ItemProperty "HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Audio" shows that required registry values are not there to begin with, so maybe you can work from there.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I added the key and tested with Windows Media Player. Its working fine now.
