    SD cards are storage devices like an USB drive, or a HDD. It won’t increase the performance, but it gives you more place to store your files.

    I recommend getting a high speed card (Class 10), at least with 16 GiB capacity (the more the better).

    Does it require a card reader or adapter or do i just but a card

    It is easier to buy a card with a reader in order to move files between a computer and the tablet. For example, here one from Amazon:

    They are available in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB, and 128GB
