Hey guys, I was wondering what should I get between the Chuwi Hibook pro (z8350 version) and the Teclast x98 plus ii mainly for reading technical PDFs (on coding etc…).

What is your opinion on this ? I saw here and there that both tablets can be painfully slow on usage, is that true ?

    My budget is 200$ average.

    Thanks a bunch.

Hypnox, I don’t have a hi book pro but I can tell you my experience with the X98plus II was not a good one. Now this was my unit and I cannot comment about other users.

The WiFi was really bad on the unit I had, constant connects / disconnects, more so in android than Win 10. Very poor range.  The battery has totally given up in mine also in less than a year. Not worth it to try and send it back for a battery replacement and I am having very poor luck in locating one from anywhere reputable. One thing I can say is the screen was very nice on the teclast and I enjoyed the dual boot Android /Windows option. YMMV

I would think something like the Hi 12 would be a better choice for pdf’s because of the extra real estate in screen size & screen ratio.  I have seen it as low as 238 us dollars on flash sale which is just a tad more than your 200 budget.

    Cheers
