You need to install WinPE (google is your friend)
Then you run the cmd file within the zip and with a USB drive inserted, it should create a recovery volume. However I’ve looked through the files and I do not see any indicators that it is actually what it says it is – Windows 10 and Android especially – that is completely missing.
If you are brave enough, download the files, insert 8gb USB, install WinPE and make sure that the WinPE executables are listed in your windows PATH list and then run the cmd file and see what happens.

Thanks for information.
I have two questions about this:
- How can i get e full backup of my table, which if anything goes wrong i can restore that backup and everything goes right. You know i mean something like a backup of whole MMC.
- I’ve already tried WinPE to install windows 10 (based on tutorial for installing Win10 on CHUWI VI8), but the problem was that ‘totalcommander’ application did not start and just freezed. I think i should ask it on xda developers.
Thanks
September 4, 2015 at 1:46 pm #10907Maybe XDA is the way to go for that.
As for a clean backup, without having to restore stock – use a program called Macrium Reflect
There is a free trial and it allows you to make full backups of a disk with all partitions included.
You will need to save your backups to an external hdd
Within the program you can create a rescue usb disk that will boot to a winpe environment and there you can restore your full emmc backup with one click.
September 4, 2015 at 1:57 pm #10910did you used it yourself? i think a user in xda broke his vi10 tablet (not sure but i think with Macrium Reflect he did so)
September 4, 2015 at 2:28 pm #10917No I haven’t tried it on my own Vi10, however I know which post you are talking about on XDA – but what I dont understand is that user was trying to boot Win7, and he also made a full backup which took 24 hours (bad idea for a couple of reasons)
So he either used the stock cable which provides bad charging for the duration of his backup and he let it run out or his tablet died for unknown reasons.
Doing a macrium reflect onto an external harddrive (thats powered) shouldn’t kill your tablet (at least the way he described it)
September 4, 2015 at 2:35 pm #10918So basically what you are saying is that you like to speculate stuff, create complex hypothesis maybe and let the people know it might work but heck you don’t know that.

Lol Sajuuk, you complete me.
Weren’t you just posting before that people should contribute instead of just replying to every post without helping? hmm looks like someone did exactly that
Also instead of posting in every post in the main page consider actually helping
Do you need a hug? Did momma not hug you enough?
September 4, 2015 at 2:47 pm #10923If I did I would get it from you mother I am sure of that……oh…snap.

Oh snap what? You’re hugging my mother man. I get it. She’s awesome.
Now, more seriously: LOOK at your response to a clear comment about how you behave… your answer is this?
Go ask momma for a hug sajuuk, its ok. Everything’s gonna be ok.
September 6, 2015 at 12:49 pm #11030I would try it, but i don’t know how to flash it. I would like to update only the android, becouse the windows 10 is perfect for me.
September 6, 2015 at 2:42 pm #11037Oh for crying out loud would you two just get a room or something!?
With regard to the guy on XDA yea I’d agree with T. Money as there is NO reason at all a full Macrium backup would take 24 hours.
I created my own Macrium USB and used it to back up my Vi10 Pro 64 GB to a Seagate external 500GB 2.5 USB drive. I had 50% charge in my tablet when I started and DID NOT have it plugged into the wall. The tablet WAS powering both the thumb drive and the HDD. The backup took about 1.5 hours and the tablet still had about 20% charge when finished.
Macrium DID NOT kill my tablet. It’s still working fine.
Oh and as a side note. My stock charger and stock cable take just about 8 hours to charge my tablet from near 0%
I have a 6 inch micro USB cable from a BT headset I have. After hearing all the ranting about cable charge times I decided to try it. My 6 inch cable with stock charger, recharged it from near 0% to full in just over 5.5 hours. Hmm must be magic!
Oh and I also purchased some 24AWG 3 foot and 6 foot cables on eBay. The 3 foot 24AWG cable, again with stock charger, took my tablet from near 0% to full in under 5.5 hours. This time I attribute it to fairies or gnomes as it couldn’t be magic twice in a row.
September 7, 2015 at 3:12 am #11049Oh @Sanjuuk where are you now?
