New to the tablet scene which is fortunate cos my idea was I wanted a dual boot device but had no idea they’ve only been around for a short time. I was looking at the Chuwi Vi10 after spending a fair bit of time on this site and in my travels noticed they had a HD model, the V10HD. Doesn’t seem to be any real mention of it here. Does it not get a lot of love?
I’m not particularly interested in gaming or videos. I have a projector and 125″ screen for all that. It’s just that the HD is basically the same price. Oddly it has the slightly slower Z3735F though. You’d think the higher res would warrant the faster CPU. Was it made earlier? Ultimately I just want a tablet as a handy backup/secondary device and for Android use if there’s an app I need and don’t want to use bluestacks.
What do you all think. Is the trade off in CPU speed worth the higher res? Is the Vi10 perfectly fine with a lower res? Should I wait to see what’s supposedly coming in September?? Like I said, speed isn’t a huge concern but I have heard a few people say android is a little slow on the Vi10. Clunky OS feel is one thing I wont tolerate. Budget isn’t a primary concern, but I like these good value for money gizmos.
