I was reading that there was a Windows update bug that somehow is installing some teclast firmware on Chuwi tablets like hi12 and hi10. I advise everyone to be careful and follow the advice in those posts. I set my system as metered connection as a workaround so that it doesn’t do auto updates.

Chuwi is said to be working on it but prevention is still better.

Thanks for the advice, although is too late for me. My 3 days old HI10 is bricked (red led blinking when powered on).

Is posible to recover the BIOS without opening the Tablet?

Is not, is there a dedicated connector for flashing the IC, or the only method is using a test clip?

Could someone confirm if the model with the blue USB 3.0 connector uses 1.8V SPI flash or the 3.3V one?

    Thank you!
