I bought a Wacom Stylus from Ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wacom-LP-170-0K-Option-Pen-Black-Only-For-Bamboo-Pen-CTL-470-K0/272387306071?_trksid=p2045573.c100033.m2042&_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D41451%26meid%3Df10ecec05fa64a87ae26ed1aebc60fa5%26pid%3D100033%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D8%26sd%3D272387306071) but it doesn’t work at all… Any of you have a list of compatible stylus for the Mix Plus? Thanks a lot.
Edited: Successfully got into installation mode from Windows Recovery Menu, if there’s a direct method to boot into BIOS please let me know.
BIOS/Firmware update is possible? I remember windows laptops used to have BIOS upgrades…
I’ve read Chris had problems with Micro sd cards, I couldn’t get my 64gb class 10 (SanDisk ultra) to work… Wasn’t recognized.
Oh, last subject, after the clean install, which drivers must be installed despite the ones windows gets by itself?
Thanks a lot folks.
March 3, 2017 at 4:33 am #62946Unfortunately, the pen you bought is for the graphic tablet variant (the kind you plug into your laptop and draw while look up at your laptop screen). It has different frequency from the Tablet PC variants. It won’t work with the Cube Mix Plus, no matter what you do.
For the Cube Mix Plus, it use same kind of digitizer panel as the Samsung Note Series, Thinkpad X220T , Hp 2760p , Fujitsu T902…. so either of their pen would work with the Cube Mix Plus. This full sized Samsung pen is a good choice. It’s affordable, and while not feel as good in hand as the graphic tablet pen but work great.
