Hi — I did a clean install of Windows 10 Home on my device, and then ran the Double Driver package with all of the drivers, and then manually tried the ‘chuwi-hi8_touch.rar’ driver install and ‘SileadTouch files for Chuwi Hi8.zip’ install, but my touch screen still does not work.

Under This PC > Properties it says no pen or touch input is available for this display. Any help would be appreciated!

This appears to be the same files included in ‘chuwi-hi8_touch.rar’ but the ‘chuwi-hi8_touch.rar’ has a cmd file included to properly move the files into place.

The ‘Win 10 SileadTouch-Package_s806_MSSL0001.zip’ file just has 4 files with no read me, do I just move them all into /windows/system32/ ? (but again these all appear to be the same files that the other driver installed)

right click on the .inf file and then click install, or go to device manager and point the driver installer to that location.

Hah you are a godsend! That did the trick, thank you so much. Touch screen working perfectly.

Could you do me a favor? Can you tell me what the hardware ID is of the touch screen hardware in device manager?

I have 16 Unknown Hardware in the device manager and no touch screen hardware.

I believe one of the unknown hardwares are the touchscreen, i just cant figure out which one.

G’day! I’ve been pretty busy with work lately, so I was searching for a quick way to switch off for an hour or two. A friend put me onto wolf winner online casino and it’s been a decent distraction so far. I started off with a few bad rounds, but then I got more aggressive with my play and ended up walking away with a good amount of profit. They’ve got some really generous offers for Australia that you don’t always find elsewhere. It’s definitely worth a look if you’re bored.
