i’ve personally been using ami duos, which can be had for a reasonable price, c. $15 usd with their recent pricing change iirc.

    [/EDIT]

it works reasonably well on my dell venue 11 pro 5y10/4GB. i had looked into blue stacks and others but this was recommended as offering a superior experience.

i bought the dell venue 11 pro as i had looked at core m hybrids last winter and found the prices to be very high for what they were, i.e. an i3 chromebook only cost me $300, had a ssd(upgraded mine to 128GB shipped with 32GB), 4GB and runs debian userland/X.org.

so anyways i caved, bought the cheaper t300 chi from ms, but returned it as i could barlely get 4h, crap wifi range, it was too large and unwieldly amongst other things. bestbuy had the dell for $500, used a 10% discount and the venue was $450 with the cheapo keyboard/case combo thing.  if you want more memory i see that the higher end 8GB models can be gotten from dell refurb for c. $600 and many are apparently new or might as well be. the keyboard with extra battery is an awesome accessory too, as i can just about get 14h with it, but i digress…
