AC isnt necessarily going to help your situation.
wrieless n can work on 5Ghz but that’s not necessarily going to help your problems.
If your reception issues are due to a lot of metal in your building – say aluminium covered insulation in walls – yes that will do shocking things to 2.4 Ghz wifi.
However the General Rule with microwaves is
the HIGHER the frequency the LOWER the penetration/propogation(distance) – and greater the reflection.
Yes this is counter intuitive to physics class. Where E=hf and higher frequency photons have more energy.

If your 2.4 Ghz issues are due to alot of congestion – crowded channels – because say everybody in the same apartment building is using wifi and bluetooth and cooking with their microwave…
well 5Ghz may be the solution for you after all.
This being said the Cube i7 book DOES have AC
however its superior wifi to the previous Cube i7 stylus (n) is partly due to the intel wifi in the i7 whereas the stylus uses some crappy Realtek.
Partly the antenna setup..
