I did the thermal mod and I must have done something wrong, because running benchmarks I get an alltime high core temp of around 70-84 degrees now for both cores.. previously it would hit around 77 degrees max.

Anyway I use CPUID and I notice the TZ scores stay constant at 28 degrees regardless of what I do. What does this mean?

Can you explain what you did? Like, how did you mod it?

I placed a 0.8mm copper shim on top of the CPU and then replaced the alumnium plate on top, then placed a thermal pad in the depression, then closed it.

Did you use the thermal compound or whatever it’s called?  ( The paste stuff)

Yes, like Stuart asks, did you use the cooling paste too?

If so, did you glue or attach the 0.8mm copper shim with anything to the aluminum plate? Otherwise it might be that the shim moved around.

Additional you can add extra thermal pads between de aluminum plate and the back of the tablet.
