Well, the HP (clearly) has a much larger, nicer screen (which may slow the processor down in relative to the i7 which doesn’t have to display everything at the much higher resolution).
It also has front-facing speakers which will undoubtedly be orders of magnitude better.
It also seems to be 3x the price. The i7 clearly wins the price/performance ratio IMHO.

Yes, i guess the cube will win for the price, but i was wondering if the gaming experience would be also the same (not talking about the screen i’m talking about the FPS).
Cause they have the same specs, but when i saw some benchmarks of the cube and the hp, i noticed that hp is much better, for example cube is running BF 3 on 31 fps, and the hp is running BF 4 with 27-35 fps, CUBE is running just BF3 and it’s slower than hp running BF4 ?!Here’s the video of the HP running BF4 : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wbKvJHyqss0
And running some other games playlist : https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLac_9oWtUQ7Aipk3TGXN5_BB06FwFguix
What do you think ?
Thanks !
July 29, 2015 at 7:43 pm #7793That’s a good question…
The conditions are similar – you can see in video you showed of BF4 that when the player was indoors, the framerate was, like you said, at 27-35fps. But, when the player goes outdoors, it drops to about 19 fps. (https://youtu.be/wbKvJHyqss0?t=277)
That pretty much lines up with the performance that Chris from this site got when playing BF3 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xnELuoBd0ek)
The BF4 video you linked says
– Intel hd 5300
– intel core m 5y10
– 128gb ssd
– 4gb ram
– Windows 8.1 proWhile the brands / specs of the ram and ssd might vary some, I can’t imagine that performance will be that noticeably different (though I can’t know that without having both devices) assuming that the games are using the same graphic settings.
Clearly neither device will run that game well (or at all) on the max settings. The trick for both will be to drop the quality of the graphics down until it plays at a suitable frame rate. With such similar hardware, I would predict that both machines would perform very similarly.

Thanks for making things clear, i’m not looking to play games at high setting, low setting will be fine for me 🙂
And i’m looking forward to buy the Cube I7.
Regards.
July 29, 2015 at 9:57 pm #7818Just wanted to know if the HP preforms pretty much similarly as the Cube.
