@vishalk Yes, both my Samsung Evo 64GB UHS-1 and Sandisk Extreme 64GB cards work just fine. The speed is a little disappointing at 30b/s read max and 23mb/s write. Much less than what these cards can do in my Surface 3 Pro or eve nSurface 3 (40mbs max both ways) It’s not wired up via a USB 3 card reader but a slower USB 2 Realtek one.

Next up for review:
Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30July 28, 2015 at 1:02 am #7659After some days of using the i7 stylus, I’m not so sure that it has been a good affair. The price is good to have a wacom tablet with 4 gb RAM. But there are many weak points:
- LCD liquefaction; the LCD has a liquefaction effect everytime the finger/pen pressure is not soft
- Hot; the back side of the tablet becomes very hot
- Scratch; after few days using the pen the screen is full of scracth (I removed the screen protector after reading the comments regard a poor reply of pen due to original screen protecto applied)
The scratches are the worst lack of this tablet. This is a tablet to be used with the pen and has scratches using the pen! Have you had the same issues?
Guys, what do you think about this? I could still cancel my order and take something different (suggestions?!)
July 28, 2015 at 5:44 am #7667So Cube has posted an update on their Facebook saying the gift stylus is exactly the same, just doesn’t have logo and branding printed on it.
This was supposedly done to reduce costs, as they already lost money on each sale tablet.
I’ll be very happy if this is indeed true! 🙂
July 28, 2015 at 6:02 am #7670Still if they advertise it as the original Cube Stylus and then send out a cheap $5 one that’s false advertising and not good at all.
I have Windows 10 10240 RTM on my i7 Stylus now, can’t recommend it. Some driver issues. Wifi, Bluetooth and updating the Wacom stylus drivers caused them to not work. Wifi doesn’t want to connect unless it’s got 100% signal strength.

So I wouldn’t try yet until we have some updated drivers or Cube release a Windows 10 image.
Hi @chris, both the bluetooth and stylus is working properly after installing some driver updates in windows 10 on cube i7 stylus.

July 28, 2015 at 8:03 am #7674Hello Vishal I am happy to know that you have no issues with the new drivers….I am new in the forum in new also in many tech things…I am waiting for the tablet myself , and hoping to use it with Photoshop …
I read some bad stories about incompatibiloity between pen and PS ( I think from Francesco ?). Have you tried to use PS with the tablet.
And the fact that the stylus hurts the screen is very worrying…Something you have noticed ?
Apart from that I would like to say that the mail service of CUBE ( Jerry ) ( Ali express) has been fantastic …I had some problems about shipping cost etc…and the response was fast and very helpfull. And many other questions have been answered asap!!
July 28, 2015 at 10:09 am #7678After checking with the support service of CUBE in aliexpress, for all person that ordered the pen with additional 30 bucks, thery will receive the original wacom pen and for the others that will receive it for free it will not be the original and may arrived with different color (white instead of black).

Same here, that’s a bit frustrating…
July 28, 2015 at 12:42 pm #7687Oh come on, a message per day is a lot for aliexpress communication. Especially after such a sale.
After reading that the display might get scratches from using the stylus often, I pulled the trigger on a 10.6 glass screen protector. At least on Surface tablets it seems the glass doesn’t interfere with stylus operation, so I’m hoping it’ll be the same with Cube i7 🙂
Will test before applying 😛 Oh the long wait until everything arrives 😀
July 28, 2015 at 12:50 pm #7689I thought the same. Do you find something? I was thinking to get a surface screen protector
July 28, 2015 at 12:50 pm #7690So then, finally received the tablet from Geekbuying. And guess what, yep, it has the Chinese cracked Windows 8 pro with kmspico. I emailed them and got a reply saying they only have the Chinese version and no English key and they “hope I understand”. Well, no I don’t understand. I’m wondering if I should dispute this with PayPal now? I want a partial refund as now I will have to buy a windows key and will have to go to the effort of uninstalling the Chinese pro version and installing standard windows 8.

I ordered a random Surface 2 glass protector. Don’t care if it covers the front cam, as long as it works 😀
July 28, 2015 at 1:25 pm #7693I was scared about the front CAM. I ll use it with skype. Could i cut a glass prprotector? I don T think so 😀
July 28, 2015 at 2:01 pm #7694No, glass is ok for camera.
The proximity sensor may work incorrect but this tablet don’t have it so no problem 😉Cube i7 Stylus User
July 28, 2015 at 2:35 pm #7697Hi guys,I just received the i7 Stylus 🙂 Unfortunately I think the tablet is DOA.– I charged it, green light indicates fully charged– it starts up but shuts down after a few seconds– after factory reset, tablet still shuts down after a few seconds.– it only does this when charger is plugged in the tablet, if i unplug the charger, it does not start up at all– I tried with a different charger with the same specs: 12v, 2,5a, + inside – outside, but this gives the same result. So this makes me think the charger is OK, tablet is broken.See my video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BchUMZ4OYxMDo other people have this problem? It seems that if i ‘wiggle’ the charger plug it sometimes (rarely) charges for a few seconds (red indicator), so I assume that’s the problem?Or… are there quick fixes? Thanks! -
