Cube i7 stylus first impression

Then, finally received the tablet from Geekbuying. And guess what, yep, it has the Chinese cracked Windows 8 pro with kmspico. I emailed them and got a reply saying they only have the Chinese version and no English key and they “hope I understand”. Well, no I don’t understand. I’m wondering if I should dispute this with PayPal now? I want a partial refund as now I will have to buy a windows key and will have to go to the effort of uninstalling the Chinese pro version and installing standard windows 8.

Geekbuying Suck’s,, had bad experience with them last year, excuses, bad communication etc.

With Geekbuying I would definitely not hesitate to step it up to a PP dispute, it seems to be the only language they understand ):

Like Peter says: open a Paypal dispute. I have had problems with them too: not reacting to aftersales claims, asking me to do the same thing (updating firmware while the device wasn’t even powering up to do so)  over and over, the only thing that worked was the PP dispute.

It’s not look like completly dead.

Plug the USB Keyboard and try to enter to the BIOS.

Make an USB drive with Windows Installer and try to install Windows Again. Maybe geekbuying and their cracked Windows are messed up 😛

11$ it’s not as expensive as you make it sound. It’s a glass protector.

rather i hope the quality is worth 11$

@olis Open a Paypal asap, lucky I didn’t get mine from Geekbuying. I got my second one from banggood.com and it’s fine, Windows 8.1 Bing. No cracked Windows 8.1, it’s legit. All the Geekbuying ones will have issues updating to Windows 10 then, because the keys aren’t legit.

I’ve had this same issue with my Onda v116w Core M, it come with Windows 8.1 Pro in English, but once I reset it, it was Chinese only version. It was a huge nightmare and a mess to fix. That cost me a new Windows 8.1 licence.

Hooray! Mine has moved from China 🙂 I ordered it on July 23rd during the $299 sale. The tracking info (singpost) now shows: despatched to overseas.

Can’t wait to put my hands on this little tablet 🙂

It’s working! After charging it for a lot of hours, it’s working! 🙂 So, problem resolved.

Ok so mine has finally shipped today. Cube store confirmed its NOT the original pen, but they state its as good.

I live in Dubai and shipping etc from aliexpress is a nightmare, so got it shipped to my shopnship address in HongKong. I may have to pay about 30USD to get from HongKong to Dubai, but atleast ill get it quicker than the states singapore post timeline of 30-60 days!! to Dubai.

Oh another thing. Now theys ay they have shipped everything together, which previously they were planning to split in two shipments.

Lets see how the transaction ends..
