Just got my tablet with the keyboard. The keyboard is very good quality. The touchpad works very well. Seller sent it at the same time he sent the tablet as agreed so I’m happy about that.

Got Windows 8.1 Pro hacked with KMS…
I hope everything will be fine with this tablet because so far the build quality is really good.
August 5, 2015 at 2:25 pm #8644Is the touchpad a clickpad or just a solid touchpad?

Both. You can “tap” (by touching). You can double tap and it double click.
But you can also push on it and it clicks (with the noise). Double push, double click.August 5, 2015 at 3:04 pm #8650Looks like I’ll need a better screen protector. I just used the pen for like 5 min of drawing: http://imgur.com/a/YADgV
August 5, 2015 at 3:11 pm #8652So how about the temperature, is it HOT like other reviews? 🙂
Also the Wifi problem? . I think if everything ok, i will buy a keyboard and screen protector

Brill. Much better than the i7 Remix then that was just a touchpad. You couldn’t press that hard to click.

Yes. Like right now I’m not using it, it’s updating (windows update). And the back is warm. Not hot but I would expect cooler than that for the CPU load. CPU varies between 20-60%.
Pretty sure running anything would makes it become hot, but I’m working right now and can’t really try it. I’ll probably update to W10 first, then install some apps.
I have no WiFi problem for now. It’s been connected for some times now, I downloaded the Windows Updates I had to do before upgrading to W10 (~600mb) and no issue so far.
August 5, 2015 at 3:54 pm #8660Hi guys, all the problems of blue screen and crashes are related to the wifi. I fixied the problem opening the tablet, putting some tape and aluminium on the wifi receiver; this way you avoid the interfereance and everything runs smoothly.

August 5, 2015 at 4:59 pm #8668Hey everyone!
I also just joined TechTablets on behalf of the Cube i7 Stylus I bought from the Aliexpress sale.
My parcel got hijacked by customs (the bastards!), and they ask for documents and things. Do you guys know/can check what value did Cube write on your parcels? Cause if I can, I wouldn’t want to pay VAT for the 300, if they only wrote a 100 on the package.
I would be very thankful if someone could take a picture of their packaging!
I am also very dissapointed that Cube sent their tablets with cracked Windows. As I get from their reactions, they say, that if you upgrade this cracked version to Win10, then that Win10 will be genuine and legit. Is this true, am I misunderstanding something, or they are just dumb and trying to get themselves out of the sh!thole they put themselves in?
Has anybody opened a dispute with aliexpress about the cracked software? I am a university student on a really tight budget, so even though I chose Singapore Post, I have to pay customs and need to buy a legit activation key.. That doesn’t fly with me at all. So if anybody opened a dispute and has gotten a response, either from Aliexpress or Cube, please update!
August 5, 2015 at 5:32 pm #8670I’ve received my tablet today too! 😀
Everything works ok, Wi-Fi on default Performance Mode too. Speed about ~30 Mbps, as on X98 Air 3G and my smartphone – it’s ok for me 😛
The stylus from Dell ST2 works great, now I’m waiting for a keyboard and I’m going to order a glass screen protector.

Mine was marked as Gift and 65$ price. Sorry, no photos. This was for the Tablet + free stylus btw, so it might be different for other variations.

I wrote them about this, still waiting for an answer. The legit win10 upgrade is bull. From what I’ve read youd get a somehow working win10 but nagging about activation and not allowing a clean reset etc. So not exactly a legit working system. I will open a dispute if they don’t compensate somehow.
August 5, 2015 at 5:38 pm #8672We all should open a dispute.
And to contact aliexpress support and tell them about it.
August 5, 2015 at 5:43 pm #8673I opened a dispute for 250$ CAD. That’s the price of Windows 8.1 Pro at BestBuy here.
I tried to upgrade to Windows 10 but I can’t because my Windows is not genuine.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3081048 says “If your copy of Windows is not genuine, or if you have a Volume License copy (intended for businesses), the icon will not appear”. KMSpico uses KMS (indeed!), it’s a VOLUME_KMSCLIENT channel and Windows can’t be upgraded to Windows 10 for that reason (from what I understood, maybe I’m wrong). It pisses me off to get a cracked Windows. I’m gonna do whatever I can do to get some money back and buy a legitimate copy of Windows.
As you can read on https://www.reddit.com/r/Piracy/comments/2lwxun/kmspico_good_idea_or_bad/, “What KMSpico does is to replace the installed key with a volume license key, create an emulated instance of a KMS server on your machine (or in previous iterations of the software, search for KMS servers online) and force the products to activate against this KMS server.”

Sorry to say this, but that is just silly.
Obviously they wont refund a Retail windows price. Given bulk prices it’s probably in the 20-50$ range max. That’s why it’s better to bug them about a legit key, even if it’s a chinese Win8.1 with Bing (that can be translated).

Don’t think so. Dispute is negotiation. I know I won’t get 250$. And I know the seller won’t refund a penny. But I’ll escalate to AliExpress and I’m pretty sure I’ll get a fair settlement. Always did so far, just need good proof and good case. I already asked the seller if the key was valid, he said yes. I received the tablet today, it’s not. I asked him for a valid key and opened a dispute. He has the choice now. He should have paid 30$ for a bulk licence is the first place. What do I have to lose?
