Hey, mine Cube i7 Stylus has just arrived. And i got a legal copy of Windows 8.1 Bing on it. Yes its from Aliexpress Sale for 299 $ with a free Stylus…
Seems like they are all with ksmpico activated Windows 8.1 Bing! This is how Cube could sell them so cheap.

I haven’t tried it yet for Windows 10. But if you use the Windows 10 tool there is an option to create an ISO (Create installation media for another PC option)

Has anyone else got their keyboard yet? It’s been so long now. I don’t even have a tracking number for it 🙁

August 8, 2015 at 9:47 pm #9085——– Has anyone else got their keyboard yet? It’s been so long now. I don’t even have a tracking number for it
I bought my keyboard on July 23rd, and the order’s status changed to ‘sended’ on August 1st. However, the China Post tracking number they send me still does not work (maybe a fake tracking number?)August 9, 2015 at 1:50 pm #9140Just wanted to update about my dispute (of 250$ CAD) for my cracked Windows 8.1. Seller answered:
Hi friend.
Good day,
Because official windows8.1 just supports chinese, so we change them to multi language,
you can update to offical windows 10. here is the step tell you how to operate.

If you indeed don’t like the tablet, you can return back to us as our warranty.

Then I said:
I do like the tablet, and I want to stay with Windows 8.1, I don’t want Windows 10. I don’t understand why you’re telling me Windows 8.1 just support chinese, this is not true. I bought several others products from AliExpress and they all came with Windows 8.1 for Bing in english. I was always able to change the langage to french afterward if needed. Now the problem is not the langage, it is that the Windows you provided is cracked, hacked, not genuine. And by the way, yes I could upgrade to Windows 10, but it would activate using a VOLUME license which is against Microsoft’s own term, which mean that my Windows 10 could stop working at any moment as all the others persons using KMSpico. This is why I want a valid, genuine license of Windows 8.1 and this is why I’m asking a refund to go to the store and buy it. Thanks.
Then escalated the dispute to AliExpress. Nothing to lose.
August 9, 2015 at 1:56 pm #9142Hope you have a good news about it. I still waiting for the tablet to arrive, maybe i will be one of the lucky people to have a genuine windows key in it.
August 9, 2015 at 2:00 pm #9143Hi there, I did a clean install of Windows 10. Afterwards, I installed the drivers (located in the first post of: http://forum.xda-developers.com/windows-8-rt/general/cube-i7-stylus-t3151563) and flashed a modified bios (V4, you can find it including the flashing instructions here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=62183546&postcount=132). Win 10 works just fine. I can recommend the upgrade. The stylus, bluetooth, Wifi and rotation sensor work without problems. The only things I noticed: – Automatic switching ofDesktop mode /Table mode does not work upon detaching/attaching of the keyboard. We will need a proper driver for that. – In Win 8.1 the was under “advanced power options” the possibility to adjust the cTDP of the CPU. This setting is gone under Win 10. Best wishes, Christian
May I ask how you installed the drivers? I also did a clean install and used the driver package from the link you mentioned, but the screen doesn’t auto rotate, and I couldn’t turn on the blue tooth. The install script in the driver package didn’t work, so I’ve been manually updating the drivers from device manager. According to windows, everything is updated to date…
August 9, 2015 at 2:50 pm #9144tablet mode switching works fine for me, keyboard too, windows 10. same driver package etc. rotation ok along with wifi and bluetooth

Are you saying that yours automatically switches in and out of tablet mode when attaching and detaching the keyboard? Mine doesn’t do this and I can’t find any setting to turn it on. On my other convertible it just works with no issues at all.
August 10, 2015 at 9:18 am #9283Cube just posted a update on Facebook about the various issues of keyboard delivery and the cracked OS:
“For your complaints of the windows os , i just reported to the director for solutions, last week i had the problems of VPN, FB always can’t show the contents like this, i’m sorry to give you feedback too late.
Notice: 1. The keyboard for i7 stylus will be available on wednesday, so i plan to delivery on thursday, i’m very sorry to ship too late
2. There are many problems with the upgrade to windows 10, i suggest not to upgrade now ,because windows 10 is only perfect for laptops, there are some problems for tablet, they are solving the problems
3. If you meet some problems when upgrading to windows, please contact the after sale service”August 10, 2015 at 9:26 am #9284I answered them on their FB post, the Store offers me a 9usd refund for a defective keyboard that is worth 55-70eur new, and also ignored my complaint about the cracked win 8.1 pro. (since i got keys from my earlier technet subscription that was not much of a problem but precracked is still the worst way to sell it). When the store got new keyboards there is nothing for me to do other than order a new one, since the cost of it returning is surely more hassle than to buy a new one and use the defective one only at home on a fixed position.
And when i got the new one i could dissamble the old one to look into it because its screwed together on the back. *grmph*
August 10, 2015 at 12:19 pm #9294hi guys, I have just received my i7. On the HW side it seems all ok, no wifi issues (for now), no keyboard isssues (it is not so bad). On the SW side, unfortunately, I detected KMS an i’m not able to use MS application so I can’t test the stylus. Can you help me to log in and use at least onenote? It shows an error similar to 0x00081. I’ll open a dispute for a partial refund.
How can I test if I have an original bing key?
If u have any questions on the tab/keyboard I’m here for you 🙂PS I bought it on 23rd july and I paid 38 euros to DHL.
