August 12, 2015 at 4:16 pm #9484Does anyone know which pen from the Wacom Store happens to be compatible with this tablet? The pen is doing it’s job but I’d like something more durable and of a better quality. I already managed to knock the button rocker out of it, good thing it’s very easy to put it back in. I tried the grip pen from my CINTIQ WX12 but it did not work.
If anyone happens to know which models are compatible, it will be great.
So far the tablet is a good product I think, even with it’s quirks and the windows license issue. I ordered a tempered glass cover and I will be ordering a 256GB SSD for it, hopefully the upgrade process will not be troublesome.
August 12, 2015 at 8:46 pm #9498i have been using my i7 stylus from past 3 days. wifi performance should have been better . . . everything about this device is amazing . . quite good value for 300$ . . . it just lags behind due to wifi issues . . . i had to drag my router closer to my room for this . . otherwise it used to give connection problems . . . pen input is great . . just like writing on paper . . good for students and teachers . . . ! but if you can spare extra 200$ go for basic surface 3 @ 499$ from amazon + 50usd ntrig pen

Are you using BT? That I found slows Wifi quite a bit as they are on the same 2.4Ghz. The Surface 3 Z8700 is nice, but it’s much slower than the Core M 5Y10.
@imran-chaudhry If the power dies when unplugged, it sounds like a battery fault. It’s not connected correctly or battery controller issues. Get it touch with Cube. Record a video of the fault to show them.Chris | Admin

Very well packaged. It is exactly 20 days from 23/7 , seems acceptable for a free shipping like singapore post. Hope it’s ok. I will review more when i comeback home.

August 13, 2015 at 11:54 am #9538Hi !
It’s my first post.
I just received my tablet 2 days ago. Since I didn’t get the free stylus gift (first 500 buyers and I was 700), I order the wacom bamboo carbon stylus.
It’s a good stylus (with 1 button and no eraser on top) and works well with the cube i7 stylus.
Hope it can helps those who want to buy a stylus.
August 13, 2015 at 1:08 pm #9546Just received mine today 🙂
I sent a message to the seller to ask for either a partial refund to buy a Windows licence key or a refund of the shipping fees so that I can send it back and get a total refund.
Anyway, in case I would keep the tablet, I have one question for you guys:
If I use a bootable USB key with Win 8.1 Pro, then reset the tablet with it, and use a valid licence key (I have one), will everything be ok ? Or is there any bios related serial or whatever linked to the bios that needs to be reset as well? Don’t know if I am clear enough…
Thanks for your help!
August 13, 2015 at 1:38 pm #9554Hi, i have done some test on my table, except for some scratchs on the screen (hopefully just on the screen protector), everything works fine, no issue with wifi. My windows version is 8.1 pro with..KMS active. I will try to install win 10 and hopefully it will not bring some problems.
Edit 1 : Ok first problem (also posted this on XDA)
I updated it to windows 10 and get all drivers needed in the first post on XDA forum too. I also tried the Modified bios v3 to reduce the heat. The biggest problem so far i get is when i try to run the game Alphast 8 , the tablet automatically shut down after 2 or 3 seconds. Does anyone know this issue ? 🙁
I am trying other games like Modern Combat…
Edit 2 : MC works OK but …the game is very laggy, just likely you play in a low spec PC, so is this because of the v3 bios ? :(<b></b><i></i><u></u>

I have same BIOS and same issue. I used Intel XTU utility to drop “Turbo Boost Power Max” -> 4W and “Turbo Boost Short Power Max” -> 6W. Other option is to flash unmod BIOS back (or just change that value in BIOS) so that it allows this tablet runs hotter.
Dropping Turbo Boost power cuts some processing power but in same time tablet doesn’t run so damn hot.
