Cube I7 Stylus MicroSD slot–funky!

so…I put in a myDigitalssd 256 gig drive…and while taking the cover off was not so bad, putting it back on was tricky–how do you get the volume and power buttons to get back inside!

 

oh well I got it worked out but I think the microsd card slot might have been damaged in the process…I put a card in and when I wait for that “click” it just shoots the card out of the slot..

oh well…at least I did increase the storage with the ssd…crystalmark results pending…

I broke mine as well.

I am sourcing on how to fix this. Do you have some photos of the SD slot, maybe we can replace it.

i broke mine too, left the card in when i opened it, the bay broke.  i also broke the magnetic keyboard connector on the tablet ,the day i got the keyboard.

no luck with this machine.

i had a closer look and looks like its hard to repair need to take apart the board to get to the tf card. i just put a black electrical tape so no one can insert an sdcard inside

I think we all made the same mistake–better TAKE OUT MICROSD CARD BEFORE OPENING UP THE TABLET!

 

But does anyone have tips on how to get the cover back on somewhat easily? I just looked and I think the rear camera is out of position so I may have to risk another re-opening to fix that, and could break something else..oh geez.

at least the wi-fi still works…!
