Received the subj a couple of months ago. Right from the box this glitch. The lower brightness, the stronger effect. At the maximum brightness it’s almost imperceptible and seems to disappear entirely in about 3-5 minutes. But to lower the brightness and it will start again. So, I keep the brightness at the maximum all the time and use Screen Filter to reduce it. Probable causes googled (from bad to worse): 1) the bad connection of the display plug (don’t know the specific term for it, 2) badly installed firmware, 3) bad power supply 4) the problem with the capacitors on the MB 5) the problem with the video chip on the MB. Any relevant information will be greatly appreciated.
