Apologies if this has been done before I’ve had a look but can’t find anything to help me – or at least not something that’s simple enough for me to understand! – I’m not bad technically but some of the stuff does go over my head so forgive me if some of this doesn’t make sense.
Basically I’d been using this product for about a month to see what it was like (very impressed), but it was bought as a present for my son for Christmas so I decided to reset the PC to get it back fresh for him. However, after hours of resetting it only got to 7% then went to the screen attached – I tried recover but no luck. Now when I select windows from the dual boot screen it tries then to boot but can’t then goes back to it the dual boot screen again (it won’t even go to the blue options screen anymore). So the problem is I can boot to android but it’s no longer working as a PC.
Looking on the internet some people are saying there isn’t a recovery partition on the Iwork 10 so at the moment it’s bricked and I need to recover Windows 10 somehow. I went on the 51cube website but I couldn’t download the firmware as it’s on a Chinese server but I have managed to download some from elsewhere (see attached image of .rar file).
I’m not a total technophobe so if I can get some instructions on what files I need to use to recover it, I’ll use the OTG lead and a flash drive to try to recover it, but I need to know how to get into the recovery screen to have these options and then in detail what I need to do?
Even better you might hopefully be able to just tell me some buttons to press?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
James

December 14, 2016 at 1:33 pm #58623Thanks for your help Hans.
I think I’m a bit out of depth here so might just leave it working as Android tablet at the moment.

James
