Hi. I just received today my Cube Mix Plus from gearbest and it does not work. First time it booted in windows, and after 2 minutes I turned it off. An hour ago I turned it on again, but it is stuck on boot, and this error appears on the screen: “map: Cannot find required map name.

Press ESC in 5 seconds to skip startup.nsh, any other key to continue.”

I searched on google for a solution and I found that it could be the SSD drive or the SATA interface. After that I entered BIOS and I realised that the SSD does not appear there.

I opened the back case and removed the SSD drive and plug it back again several times, but it still does not work and I can not see the SSD in BIOS.

So I believe that there is a problem with eighter the SSD drive or the SATA port. Or maybe it is just a BIOS setting.

So anybody here have any suggestion? Thanks.

P.S. I attached a photo with the error.

You have booted into the built in EFI Shell, not a big deal.

Go into the Bios and switch the boot priority to Windows Boot Manager and you should boot to Windows again.

(type in “reset” and hit enter to reboot from the shell extension)

Thank you for your answer but, no, it was not that. I already tried all I could try, I changed the  boot priority etc. After letting it turned off for the night, now it works. It was probably static energy or something like that.
