That is not good, I saw a comment on my review of this and my keyboard is fine. No issues yet with any of the keys doing that. I hope it will not happen. Maybe there is a second batch with bad keyboards or I just got lucky 🙁 Other reviews of the first batch seem good too, no mention of the keyboard.
Let the seller know about it. If anyone else has issues please let us know and I’ll post back if I also have any keys break.

Next up for review:
Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30June 2, 2017 at 9:26 am #67700I actually pre ordered in April on gearbest before it was stocked. I sent it to Qatar where my dad is and he brought it just recently. So this is the first batch.
It does suck though.
Is it repairable and if it is, do you know what keyboard it is, or any details so I can look for repair it?
June 3, 2017 at 3:46 am #67718I just got mine today and it seems ok.
The keyboard is part of the top frame, so likely the easiest replacement method would be a top frame swap. Don’t know if you could convince them just to send you that part though. Kinda a bummer any which way, pay to send it back for repair or convince them to send a part and install yourself. :/
June 7, 2017 at 9:55 pm #67901I don’t want to return it so I’ll try a partial refund.
Do you think it’s repairable without getting the part from cube cause they are refusing to send me anything except for useless GB points from gearbest lol.
What would you do in my situation? Keep it as it is and wait until it needs to be repaired?
Thanks for the help and responses !
January 15, 2018 at 7:44 pm #77025Hello. I just got my Cube Thinker 3 days ago, and although I don’t have any physical damage to any of the keys, the typing experience is not good at all.
Keys need to be pressed really hard to work, space is only working when pressed right in the middle and not on all of its surface, and I get a lot of double letters… Its disappointing given the fact that it’s an expensive laptop with so promising hardware…Any idea on what I should do? When I’m at home I use it with an external monitor, mouse and keyboard, although when I’m mobile it’s really hard to type on it, because I need to come back and correct literally every 2 words… :/
January 28, 2018 at 2:15 pm #77854I’ve found mine to be fine. Only issue is find is one key comes out slightly, so I sometimes have to readjust (push it back in).
Im a fast typer and I’ve not experienced any delay at all.
