Hi Literally just recieved my x98 pro. started up ok. randomly shut down on windows. had to re boot back on an droid all ok, switched to windows.
it work for 10 minutes then just without warning died. have been charging but it just will not boot up even the bios splash. what a plile of Sh**te!
last china tablet for me. I have and still own 2 good china phones but this thing takes the P**s.
any ideas, or shall i just use it as a chopping board?
October 30, 2015 at 4:04 pm #14547I’m in the same boat, received the same tablet on Monday, had nothing but problems since. Tried everything suggested on this site and as of today it won’t even switch on, no battery charge sign when plugged in. I’ve sent several emails to Banggood about it. Slow response there. I’ve told them now I want to return it as not fit for purpose. Its just hassle all the way.
October 31, 2015 at 8:48 pm #14606Well found I had to fully charge it to get any where. Seems to work well in android. Windows mirrors on rebooting until I set down the power settings low, but best on mains power if working.
Though the battery was meant to last 3 hours?? No way… Even not running much on droid has me tied to… Ohhh 1.5hrs if lucky.
It’s like only half the battery is wired up. So…. Do I return it…. Open it up to see/fix the battery, or just run via a power pack???
The power thing sucks with this other wise awesome bit of kit. Chrome in droid is fast as fudge!! Loads in milli seconds and scrolls well.???
October 31, 2015 at 8:56 pm #14608Have the same problem. I’ve been putting all I tried in the forums here. Nothing really works although it looked like it at first. Today a major crash again. Same story: in windows not Android.
The best option after using it as a chopping-board came from another user, Martin. Go into the bios (attach a keyboard and when rebooting keep pressing F7). Then go to the IGB Turbo option and DISABLE. Tablet is stable for now at my side.
October 31, 2015 at 8:58 pm #14609I found this issue as well on the Chinese Teclast forum bbs.teclast.com using the Google translate option. Two posts about it with sort of the same description of the problem. So it seems it not even a new problem!
October 31, 2015 at 9:10 pm #14613Can you throw us a bone? Dennis. 😉
On just seen your post;” Solution to crash in Windows, black screen and not booting afterwards”.
I’ll give it a go… Cheers mate?
October 31, 2015 at 9:16 pm #14614Hi Spanna Hanz
Yes please do, the more souls report this as THE solution the better. Teclast is’nt going to fix it I’m afraid 🙂
November 1, 2015 at 5:28 am #14629Went to a local repair shop, they took one look at it and said send it back. It wasn’t worth their time to try and fix it. He was very polite and refrained from using stronger language about the tablet. I want it to work but it has bugs everywhere you look and I haven’t the time to mess around with it. Might try the BIOS thing to see if that helps. If not back to China it goes.
