I bought it on the Aliexpress’s Anniversary sale and received three days ago due to my customs department. It should arrive at the first week but because of the declare title of the item is “TV Box” (they told me before sending it, it’s my fault not checking it) my country does not allow TV Box, Android Box, etc. (related to TV) to be imported without register with the government and it very complicated. So, I tell the DHL to send it back to the seller and say to the seller to resend it. (plus the long holiday week in my country the item was stuck at the customs department)

The model I bought is Intel i5 8250U with 128GB SSD and 8GB of RAM.

When I ran it the first time I also surprise that the CPU model is i5 8350U, but I recheck the detail page, and they already said that they would randomly send CPU model between 8250U or 8350U, it’s up to the stock they have. And I want you to test something for me. I have some problem when I play Youtube video on Chrome (still testing on Edge, so far no problem), it randomly freezes the screen, and the audio stopped, but I can still move the mouse cursor. To temporary fix it, you need to unplug the monitor and the plugin again then everything back to normal.

I think it because of the GPU driver or software(?) (I hope so) when the internet browser using hardware acceleration for the video decoder. But when I am using it for other tasks like watching 4K HEVC 10-Bit jellyfish video file ( http://jell.yfish.us ) using MPC-HC with hardware decoder (DXVA2 native) or using TeamViewer and other heavy tasks the problem never shows up so far.

If you have the same problem, I’ll relieve that it not the firmware or the hardware issue. I still testing the mini PC. So, I’ll update any result here.
