I prefer the Hi12, screen is great (Surface Pro 3) and the best battery life thanks to the large 11,000 battery. Price is good too now $235

Ordered and waiting for my: BMAX S15 & Teclast F6 Plus
Currently testing: LG G8X & Redmi K30March 6, 2017 at 7:53 pm #63094Hey, sorry to bump an old thread, but I actually had a similar question, with a few more details. I’m looking for a temporary(ish) replacement for my dying Toshiba laptop, and given that I’m currently living in China I figured I’d take advantage and try out one of the local options while I save up for a more permanent solution (I’m eyeballing an Eve V, but that’s for another thread).
I’m an ESL teacher, so my main use cases would be 1. Hooking it up to a projector/HD TV for PPT presentations and movies, 2. Using it as an e-textbook and 3. Light web/office usage. I’d also like to use it for comics and some (very) light gaming of the retro variety, but those are the big three. From what I’ve read it seems like both would fit the bill, but the Hibook Pro’s advantages (better audio jack, about $40 cheaper) seem offset by the Chuwi’s size, battery life, stylus support and aspect ratio (that 3:2 seems like the sweet spot for over-sized books). The one thing that’s giving me pause though is the screen, specifically the reflections which seem to be mentioned in basically every review. I don’t work outside, but I do work in a lot of classrooms/offices with windows, so is this thing going to be impossible to see clearly unless I close all the blinds like a recluse? Have you found a screen protector or other solution that might help alleviate this problem? Like I said, the HiBook Pro seems like a fine option in its own right, but I think the Hi12 would be a better fit if this isn’t a big issue. Any input from current users would be appreciated.
