    That is very disappointing. Did you use Paypal? I hope so, as I understand they are often able to step in an resolve this sort of poor performance.

    The hinge isn’t great on my EZBook 3 Pro too. The screen makes contact with the base when opening and closing which makes a horrible creaking sound. I suppose I will just have to learn to live with it. It seems pretty poor QA from Jumper to let laptops leave the factory like this.

    The hinge on my Onda Xiaoma 21 is awful as well, creaks badly! Starting to think that I should have stuck to Chinese phones and tablets only. These new faces in town don’t seem to be very good at the mechanical aspects!!

    Update: Gearbest has agreed to exchange this product for another one. I mailed in the laptop and will keep everyone posted on the progress of the exchange.

    Great news Brian.

    Just thought I should mention, I opened up my EZBook 3 Pro for the first time and I was surprised at how loose some of the screws were (Might explain the creaking sounds). I recommend tightening up the screws when you receive your replacement.
