Hi,
I got a defective HiPen from Banggood, and got in touch with their customer service. I shot a test video as requested (https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BwcejGKSwuhHbGxFTXk4SnFWR2s) which clearly shows the issue, and after a couple of email exchanges (a 48h delay every time {:-|) they agreed to refund me through a “big coupon”. And then they ask me if a $15 coupon makes me happy O_o; (considering the full price is $25 plus shipping, as I took an insured shipping).
What is wrong with them? I am a returning customer, this is the second tab I buy from them, plus various accessories and I need to barter for getting a replacement on a broken item?
I threatened to file a PayPal claim (fortunately I did pay through PayPal), what do you think? I can’t believe how bad their service is, I mean even your run-out-of-the-mill AliExpress seller does better than this!
Any advice / return on experience would be welcome…

June 2, 2016 at 2:31 pm #39617Almost as good of a story as mine with banggood. I received a tablet, DOA. Then the customer service insisted on me testing the device with a replacement battery (to be supplied by me of course) to proof that it’s really DOA – before even considering a refund.
It goes without saying that the device didn’t even have a removable case…
June 2, 2016 at 3:01 pm #39620I’ve got a hipen on the way from banggood. As suggested above, I would file a claim with paypal as soon as they offered a coupon instead of a refund.
June 2, 2016 at 3:09 pm #39622Thanks for your input, I filed a claim finally.
June 4, 2016 at 9:53 pm #39853I received a defective pen as well 🙁 just uploaded my video and submitted my claim.
June 6, 2016 at 11:38 am #40007BangGood will promptly deny your PayPal claim so be prepared to escalate through PayPal.
BangGood’s policy is to stall, treat the customer as a liar and attempt to never refund anything. They actually demanded that I make a video of a dead tablet keyboard on a dead tablet to show the keyboard was dead.
You will have to force them to do anything through PayPal escalation.
THen never buy from BangGood again unless its cheap trinkets that you really don’t care about if they are junk or broken.June 6, 2016 at 5:27 pm #40039Hey I got the pen to work by unscrewing the battery compartment by 50%. It’s a really ghetto way of using it, but it works for me. Give it a try
