Is it a new device? If it is I suggest you to return it for a replace.
February 4, 2017 at 5:05 am #61573I would take the data you need off the tablet and go into settings into updates and security and restore/reset the tablet through recovery. You might want to make a windows10 install disk from online and reinstall it fresh. You can use a usb stick and get windows from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 . I know it’s useless unless you can get in the bios to be able to boot from a usb stick, maybe you could find a different usb keyboard to try. Are you holding down the delete key when you see the cube logo on powerup, to get to the bios? You might also try to join the windows insider program through the settings-update and security page. It is a windows beta program and it installs a beta windows on top of what you have and maybe it would put the necessary sd and usb3 drivers in for you. I use the windows beta software and it works excellently , Good Luck!

Alright, thanks for your replies. I tried now in the first place to reset the tablet back to manufacturer defaults. While doing this the progress stopped at 64% and the tablet stuck now in a boot loop.
Since no USB keyboard is getting detected I am also unable to go into bios for an alternative boot method.
Opened a dispute on Aliexpress to get the money back… 🙁
February 6, 2017 at 9:38 pm #61737There is some topic here telling how to enter BIOS with no keyboard.

It is not only entering the bios, but also navigating in it. Since it is not UEFI it does not recognize the touch entries. So even if I would get into the bios I wouldn’t be able to do anything in it…
February 6, 2017 at 10:02 pm #61746Have you tried plugging the keyboard into the usb-c port with an adapter?

Well, this could actually be an option. But since I am currently traveling through New Zealand the technical construction I would have to buy, wait for and assemble is it not worthwhile.
I would have to buy a Usb-c to USB3 adapter. Then I would need a USB3 Hub to connect the keyboard and USB stick to, which I would have to purchase both as well. I would have to download in a public library an OS an make it boot able to the USB stick. And then in the end this whole setup would have to work with the Cube tablet, which I already doubt… As much as I liked the tablet in the first place, I probably gonna try to return it to the seller.
