Filippo, in the review of the keyboeard made by Chris, he said:  “It also supports Windows gestures and can be disabled with Fn + F11”

That’s disabling the trackpad, not only the gestures.

Sadly the trackpad gestures are not showing in windows settings 🙁

I hope the touchpad will get a proper driver because I keep minimizing windows all the time 😛

I’m having this problem two it’s so incredibly annoying. Really hope that they do update the drivers so we can turn this off or make it less annoying

I’ve played with this a little and found that the gesture you’re referring to sends win key and D as an input. There is a registry key you can add to disable win key shortcuts individually; if you don’t use Win-D, you can disable it and stop it happening.

    1. Using regedit, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\.
    2. Add an expandable String Value named ‘DisabledHotkeys’
    3. Simply add the shortcuts you don’t want (for this purpose, ‘D’) in there, and reboot.

The touchpad won’t minimize with a swipe anymore, but obviously the shortcut will be gone too. If that’s okay with you, there’s your answer.

    Hope this helped somebody, anyway.

E: Had a look around and just want to clarify; this solution doesn’t disable the windows key entirely, and all of the other win+[key] shortcuts will keep working. It also doesn’t require third party software or scripts.

This is great, but I don’t understand half of it. What is regedit? I have no clue how to do all of this, since, you know, I am not an IT expert.

If you want to disable some touchpad gestures, but want to keep the keyboard shortcuts, you can use my AutoHotkey script.

Yes, I can help you with that. To disable touchpad gestures, including edge swiping, you can follow these steps:

Open the “Settings” app on your computer. You can usually access it from the Start menu or by searching for “Settings” in the search bar.

In the Settings window, click on the “Devices” category.

From the left sidebar, select “Touchpad.”

In the Touchpad settings, you should find an option to customize touchpad gestures. Look for an option that mentions “Swipe” or “Edge Swipe.”

Disable the toggle switch or checkbox associated with the edge swipe gesture or any other gestures that you find annoying.

    Close the Settings window.
