    Hi,

    I got the Thinker and installed Ubuntu 16.04 on it and so far really pleased with it and running really smooth and fine. Loving the display and overall performance!

    Question:

    Do anyone knows if it would be ok to use an USB type C adapter to connect the Thinker to an external display over displayport? (displayport and not HDMI as DP runs at a higher refresh rate on this GPU and seems like some external displays are more likely to work with laptops over the DP than HDMI)

    I’ve ordered a type-c hub at gearbest (with displayport and hdmi output) and I plan to connect an external display but first I’d like to make sure it will work fine over DP.

    Can you paste a link to the adapter you’ve bought? Does it work ok?
