I was wandering how many have the freezing problem with their vi10plus 2gb32gb Remix only tablet. And if you had the problem in Remix / android, and therefor installed Windows, still have same problem in Windows too, or not? I must say that I am very dissapointed with Chuwi. 6 weeks and not one single word about this other than “submit a ticket”. A ticket they will not respond to anyway.
November 21, 2016 at 7:21 am #57208I am having the same issues with the Hi10 plus with remix only. There seems to be quite a few people having problems with both tablets. I got some level of response by bombarding their social media pages (facebook, twitter) which I didnt like doing and dont feel I should of had to do. Then they just had me flash it and reinstall Remix. I still have problems.
To start make comments on their facebook page, it seems to get some sort of response. I would also sign up on the Remix page/forum. Open a ticket with them and let them know. If its not a Remix problem, then Chuwi is doing serious damage to the Remix brand and maybe they can push as well so we all can have a solution.
November 26, 2016 at 8:26 am #57518I’ve released a kernel for CM12.1 that has fixed the ‘freezing issue’ for me at least. Basically it’s the Ncard eMMC to blame.

I received a Vi10 Plus late last week, and initially found Remix OS 2.0 to be interesting, but quickly became tired of limitations, and also, the frustrating lockups. So I installed the most recent version of Konsta’s CM12.1 as of yesterday, and was thrilled with what I saw. I spent several hours getting stuff installed, and the tab configured, and not once ran into a freeze (whereas the same effort with the stock Remix OS installed on the tab ended up with 3-4 freezes over a few hours). I have no long-term comments about CM12.1 as of yet because I only installed it yesterday, but so far it is great!
