Hello guys.
I’m thinking about buying this laptop because i like the way it looks and the specs. A friend of mine order one on sale and he ask if i want it, before it even arrives, because he already have a laptop. I’m interested, but I’m getting cold feet because of all the reviews about the flickering, screen falling off, keys jumping around, super high temperatures, weak battery, and so on.
After a few months do you guys still like the laptop? How’s holding up after months of use? Do all of you have problems with the machine?
I have a EZBOOKPRO3 v4, do you think that i should switch or its bad business for me?
Thank you.
November 4, 2017 at 9:33 pm #74404Hey Peter,
Last month, I was in the same position as you. I bit the bullet, and I’m glad I did.
I personally think it is a fantastic laptop. I also had cold feet, especially with all the horror stories.Keyboard for me is fine, I have no issues with it at all (I’ve never had a MacBook Pro, so I cannot compare).
Screen flickering – I did experience this, which was a bit annoying. However, after applying some changes, it hasn’t happened since. To be honest, it seems like it’s a lottery, there’s a small probability that something could occur, but a greater probability that it will be fine. I’m really enjoying the laptop – The screen is fantastic, and I have a blank desktop and I use the app 9zen wallpaper which automatically changes the wallpaper.
I’m not a heavy laptop user, browse and I’m using it to study – however, today I achieved 4-5hours of battery life on 25% brightness, I’m guessing it depends on what you do.
In terms of temperature, I don’t find this an issue at all, it gets slightly hot at the bottom of the laptop, but nothing excessive.
Overall, I’d recommend this – particularly if you are able to obtain this at a good price 😉

I’m going to buy it, and my friend agreed to sold it to me for 30% less the price. After some reading here in the forum i can see that seem to be no reason for the screen flickering, right?
I will be using the laptop mostly for productivity, so no heavy use. Did you make some changes to reduce the temperatures?
Thanks again, i will be looking forward to read more opinions.
November 5, 2017 at 2:24 pm #74419That’s a good price, especially if you consider offloading your other laptop.
Yeah, flickering seems to be prevalent on some devices, but I think this is a software issue – I’ve posted a fix that worked for me, since applying I have not had any issues, so it is now running like a dream.
I have not made any modifications.
