    Thanks,

    I will try the drivers.

Same thing happened to me, turns out a clean install wasn’t a good idea. (Still no working camera and a drive issue in device manager) Lucky I have a Acronis stock image backed up before I wiped and did the clean install. Uploading it now, this saved me and I was able to restore my EZbook 2. That noise was driving me insane…

I was in the same boat, I’m uploading a factory image backup I made. This is the only way to fix this issue, trust me I tried and tried other drivers. This was the best solution. No more noise.

The fix will be posted soon. It will require you to download the backup I made and use Acronis to restore it. But it works, save my EZBook 2.

That is odd, so it doesn’t see your disk at all? Did you mess around with the bios settings?

Thank you for the drivers! I got a shock when I reinstalled windows from my bootable media (failed to reset windows after running into a reboot loop at 64%) when there were no drivers for most of the hardware.

The set of drivers are a godsend! Just help to update from device manager and got everything up and working fine. I have since made a backup copy of the drivers. No problems exhibited with the drivers and everything worked perfectly.

So, from my observations, it seems that it is possible to reinstall windows 10 with the downloaded image from Microsoft, then install drivers supplied. Now my Windows 10 has no issues with windows update.

I solved this problem! I was able to do from the image directly from acronis program without having to create a bootable flash drive. now the problem of the whistle seems to have disappeared when the battery is charging, but as soon get to about 80%, the whistle back returns, more slightly. if I keep the brightness to a minimum, however, it disappears.

    again thanks for the support!

Too many downloads, please try again. I’ll see if I can get a mega.nz mirror or torrent mirror.
