Something I’ve noticed on a project is that everyone seems satisfied with the drawings, yet nobody can clearly explain how certain systems are supposed to interact once construction begins. Each specialist has reviewed their own portion, so technically the documents have been reviewed. The uncomfortable part is what happens between those individual portions. It reminds me of assembling a complicated machine where every component looks correct separately but the connections haven’t been tested. What methods do you use to catch coordination problems between disciplines before they reach the job site?
