    Hi!

Have anyone tried the supplied otg cable to copy files from an external drive?
Here is what happens to me: – I start copying (7GB 1300files), first it starts with good speeds, then stops/freezes/disconnects/sometimes continues, but the copy isn’t working.

On my pc, everything works perfectly. I’ve also tried Total commander to copy, but it’s the same. When I play the files individually, it’s working.
I’ll get an usb-c to usb 3 adapter, i hope that will work better, but what can i do with this?

The drive spins and seems to be working. I’ve tried with a 2.5 hard drive and an ssd through usb 3.0 to sata3.0 adapter. External sdcard reader works, just not with this sata adapter. But it is working perfectly on other pc’s.

    What could cause this?

I have nearly the same problems with my 2,5″ hard drive and the mini usb 3 port.

When i want to copy a file to the pc or another drive than the drive disconnects and connects instantly again.

The same thing with video files. I start a video. After a while approximately 5-8 min it stops because the drive disconnects.

Have someone else the same problem with the mini usb 3 Port?

The usp type c port works well with an adapter =)

I think it might be a power issue. I have the same behaviour, also it does not see my usb 3.0 on the mini usb 3.0 as external, so I cannot eject the drive. On USB-c it all works fine with an usb-c to usb-3.0-A adapter.
