Extrnal HDD is not detecting.

I have an x98 plus ,windows only ver.I watch Chris review and I buy it from Banggood . Is this model support external HDD ? I try to connect a 1TB lenovo & WD ext HDD through otg adapter it didn’t show the drive. But both HDD detected on USB safe remove option and device manager. Anybody connect an ext HDD to this tablet ,is it work ?

Use it with an external power source, the output power is not enough to spin your hard drive rotor.
