    If I just take a fresh iso from win10 does that work to install it on the eMMC?

    I read that win10 license is in the bios.

    got same problem but with italian language, the pack can be downloaded but can’t be applied;

    so better do a fresh  Win 10 install v.1709 from .iso, just open the iso and let install it

    for drivers use softwares like drivers booster or similar..

    Did the install of fresh Win10 Iso and the license is indeed activated. Perfect. Thanks for all the help.

    Soon my KingSpec 512GB SSD will be arriving. Then move the OS from emmc to SSD. Hope this SSD is compatible and stays that way.

    Hi. I created an account just for this post: I had the same problem but I found an easy fix! It seems like they didn’t even bother to download the language packs.

    Ok, so what you do is you choose the Chinese option then you keep going through all of it until you get the the part where you choose your internet connection and connect to the internet but after this don’t go any further. Then you force a shutdown by holding the power button, then swiping down. After this, start up the PC again and this time it will be different than it was the first time – you will have more options basically. Choose your options then go through the process as it says. The langauge pack will then automatically install and te laptop will restart. When the laptop turns back on it, the menu will look the same as last time but when you choose English now, it doesn’t get the same error message and then you can go through the normal process of starting windows for the first time. This worked for me.

    Hope this helps,

    Harry.
