Who made the clean installation of win10, where did you recover the drivers?
Second post, this topic: Liam posted a link for the drivers. Marco, whether you’ll do the clean installation, maybe you can guide me over the process once you’re done?
I would like to have a guide too! Getting my Jumper also soon.

Ok so this is the normal size. Who made the clean installation of win10, where did you recover the drivers?
First thing I did was a clean install of Win 10 on mine, run the AHK script and power limit tweak using RW. Used the drivers in the download section (V4 dump) and restored it using “Double Driver”. Mine was delivered a couple of days ago. It’s got the SanDisk DF4064 eMMC, 9W power limit and locked BIOS build is dated in Dec. Overall works fine for everyday use. Doesn’t seem to have issues with keyboard or touchpad at the moment (touch wood!), except Fn+PrtSc isn’t working (bugger it, prefer using snipping tool anyway). But then again, it’s my secondary laptop and used mostly when I need to travel light so it’s only used for light tasks (browsing, youtube, mail, docs, some presentations and watching movies on the go). “Heavy work” gets done on my Mi Notebook Pro i-7 16GB.
Just waiting for my SSD to arrive so that I can migrate my system over. Besides, 64Gb is just simply not enough for me. One weird thing though, my external HDD (HSGT in external HDD enclosure) is refusing to work, intermittently powering on and off. But my external SDD (M.2 in an external enclosure) works fine. Weird, but I’m not complaining. For the price, it beats working on a tablet and is great as a mobile secondary laptop. Battery life is decent and the size is perfect for me. Wish it was a little lighter though. YMMV.

- To do a clean installation, follow the instructions here.
*For “Step 9”, I deleted ALL the existing partitions, selected the single unallocated space and let Windows do its thing.
*If you need the product key download Produkey here and use that to find it.
2. I didn’t select and log-in to any wifi during account set-up. Didn’t want Windows automatic update to mess things up when I restore OEM drivers.
3. After installation and set-up, restore the downloaded V4 drivers using “Double Driver”.
4. Select and log-in to your wifi network. Update windows.
5. Download, install and run Intel Driver & Support Assistant. (Download here)
6. Update whatever is necessary.
That’s it, done and Bob’s your uncle. 🙂

BTW, forgot to mention that you’ll need to change the boot order in the BIOS settings to boot from the USB or DVD that you’ve created using the Media Creation Tool. Cheers.

Hello everyone I’m Marco I received my ezbook 3 pro on 4/1/17 and I think it is a v4.5, emmc sandisk SDW64G and the bios blocked. The windows folder seems to me too big, around 31 Gb. How much space does your windows installation take? For the rest I feel very comfortable with the ultrabook Have a nice day
after having installed Windows updates, I ran the “Disk cleanup” tool with the result of having 24 GB occupied.

I received mine on 8/Jan. Bought it from Geekbuying which lists it as V4. but it comes with Sandisk DF4064 eMMC and a locked BIOS with 5/DEC build date. I’m not sure if that’s the V5 that you’ve mentioned but it seems to be the newest build. Geekbuying has warehouses in EU so you might be able to save a few dollars on tax and shipment might be faster but prices are a little higher than Gearbest.
It really depends on what you want out of this laptop. If you’re using it for .docs/.xls/.ppt, multimedia, youtube, web browsing, maybe some occasional light gaming… the “normal stuff”, or as a 2nd laptop to remotely connect to your other more powerful systems, then yes definitely recommended. What it ISN’T recommended for is tasks like photo or video editing/encoding, high-end games i.e “processor intensive stuff”.
What I also recommend are earphones (speakers are terrible), a 256GB SSD and a fresh install of Windows. 64GB is just too small and SSD response times are so much faster. I bought and am now currently using this KingSpec SSD. For the price, I think it’s pretty good. It’s not a big brand SSD but it works well. Cheap too. My Crystal Disk Mark 6 results

If you want to tag me, my username is thegiollyJanuary 13, 2018 at 5:11 pm #76905Well, back in December my son got a V5, locked bios with sandisk DF4064 eMMC. I just received one I ordered for myself, in early Jan. It seems to be a V4, with sandisk DF4064 eMMC, but the bios is dated 9/30/17, and what’s weird is that the bios is unlocked, but NO power limit settings for CPU configuration are available. The memory speed is configurable. ???
I guess it’s the luck of the draw.
January 13, 2018 at 6:04 pm #76907Hello everyone, I bought a jumper ezbook at the end of December V5 with locked bios. The laptop does not suffer from keyboard or other problems and is very good (for the price). I did a clean install of win10 and updated the drivers.
It will be my second laptop and I will use it connected to the external monitor to work. I would like help to be able to increase the tpp to 15W to speed up the gpu, but with the bios blocked and can do it through software or with downgrade of the bios to v4 version? Can you help me? Bios -> Chipset -> South cluster Configuration -> SCC Configuration -> eMMC Max Speed -> DDR50 -> HS400.
At 100 percent charge, the indicator LED does not switch from red to green?
