Hello everyone, I bought a jumper ezbook at the end of December V5 with locked bios. The laptop does not suffer from keyboard or other problems and is very good (for the price). I did a clean install of win10 and updated the drivers. It will be my second laptop and I will use it connected to the external monitor to work. I would like help to be able to increase the tpp to 15W to speed up the gpu, but with the bios blocked and can do it through software or with downgrade of the bios to v4 version? Can you help me? Thank you all
You can increase the TDP via RW-Everything. There’s a post relating to that. As for flashing the bios, I’ve been advised to check the motherboard version first with HWiNFO to see if it’s p313R. Unfortunatenately mine isn’t, it’s P3132.
January 13, 2018 at 10:49 pm #76918Thanks Kennet I managed to increase the tdp with ThrottleStop, the procedure with RW I have no experience to do it. I checked with Hwinfo and it works. Next step and insert a termal pad like Chris’s video. I confirm that my jumper at the end of charging the led turns green.
January 13, 2018 at 11:54 pm #76925…But my external SDD (M.2 in an external enclosure) works fine…
And which adapter M.2 NGFF (SATA) SSD To USB 3.0, what SSD did you use?
How do you like this?January 14, 2018 at 12:05 am #76927….It seems to be a V4, with sandisk DF4064 eMMC, but the bios is dated 9/30/17, and what’s weird is that the bios is unlocked, but NO power limit settings for CPU configuration are available. The memory speed is configurable. ??? …
Bios -> Chipset -> South cluster Configuration -> SCC Configuration -> eMMC Max Speed -> DDR50 -> HS400. At 100 percent charge, the indicator LED does not switch from red to green?
Nope, it stays orange. I was able to set the memory speed, but no cpu power limit available.

I’m using that exact same SSD enclosure. 🙂
February 27, 2018 at 12:38 pm #99447Hi guys.
I bought this laptop for my father (60 years old) and should arrive during end of this week or next week.
I got it from Amazon.it (I’m from Italy) but the sellers it’s GbeastEU.
Which version should I expect? V5? (someone reported on Amazon.it that he got Bios V6).
I even bought an dogfish 240gb 2242 ssd, but I really think to use it just as storage, because I think the EzBook 3 Pro will be already enough fast for my father (he has a VERY old 11 years Toshiba Satellite), but if I decide on the contrary, someone has feedback with this SSD?
I saw even some “hardware” mod for get temps lower etc. On the new versions we still need such mods for get better temps? I’m accustomed to do these kind of things but if temps are ok, I’ll not lose time on it lol (maybe just few TS downvolting will be enough). Thanks Guys ^^
March 1, 2018 at 10:40 am #110397Laptop arrived ^^
Waiting few tips if you have some, can’t wait to see my father unboxing it XD
March 1, 2018 at 12:07 pm #110633Should be fine without any mods. If he doesn’t plan to try and game on it, no point software modding the TDP so it will not need a copper heatsink mod and thermals will be fine.

That’s awesome! I’ll report in next days which Bios version I have etc.
Thanks for your answer ^^P.S. If my father want start gaming, he has my Desktop with Ryzen 7 1700 + 1080ti ahahah
EDIT: So I got a blocked bios version (not a problem for my father use). Display is perfect (not noisy under 50%), keyboard seems fine also.
I just need to decide where install windows now, but I think I’ll use the dogfish SSD for better speed ^^March 1, 2018 at 5:03 pm #112412I got lot of problems with the DogFish SSD.
It work perfectly on my Desktop computer, but strangely behave on the EzBook 3. It’s recognized on bios, but when I try to install in it Windows, I get errors after few minutes of waiting. When I’m on windows, the SSD is recognized, but if I start a Bench with CrystalDiskMark, it won’t start at all (works as I said on my desktop without a problem) and if I copy a file on the SSD, it start FAST, and then goes to 0..
I really not know what to do, any advice? Maybe bad SSD compatibility?March 11, 2018 at 3:18 pm #140506Hello everyone, I’m Beppe.
I received my ezbook 3 pro on 09/03/2018.
How can I find out the version?
bios date 05/12/2017I noticed that at the ignition after charging the battery I visualize about 80% and not 100%. is problem?
sorry for my English.
thank youMarch 17, 2018 at 8:36 am #140707here test results… is it unlimited or 9W?
its set to 9W where 6W is standard so no need to do tdp unlock
